DANISH DIGITAL EDITION - Issue 6 2022

It is with particular pride that I send this edition of the magazine to the streets. It contains so many fine articles and good stories from near and far, which I look forward to sharing with you. I hope you are as inspired as I am. For me, late summer is something very special. There is another calm. The year's big outdoor projects have been done, and there is still some time before we really start thinking about Christmas. The summer holidays are over, so there is no pre-holiday stress at work and there is still a high probability of good weather even in our latitudes. The sea is bearable to swim in, which I really love. Lars and I enjoy the trips to the sea, where, among other things, we have a tradition of meeting distant family members, whom we often only see here in the month of August. Then we drive to the North Sea in the morning, have a picnic on the beach, go for walks and swim, eat ice cream, drink wine and talk until the sun sets in the sea. Or we enjoy gathering children and in-laws or good neighbors for a bonfire in the backyard, which we learned from Michael and Cat, who we follow here in the magazine this year. However, our food is not that advanced, but once "one pot" over a fire and accompanying pan bread can also do something.

Over time we will keep more and more of these traditions and good times. For us, they are equal to the good life and the ones that are really held firmly in the memory. Those where it's about being together and enjoying nature. The older we get, the more we are reminded that nothing lasts forever, and the importance of enjoying the small and big good moments that are right now and here is so incredibly important. I think this edition reflects and provides inspiration for that in many ways.

Dick and Angel's visit to the French castle, Chateau de la Motte Husson, also emphasizes just this. They also appreciate the little things that make all the difference. In this edition, we take you on a tour of all the outdoor areas around the castle, speaking of experiences that stick in the memory, this is definitely in the category of one of the great experiences that have stuck in your mind.

Really good reading and good late summer.

 Best regards, Vivian
