One of the dishes that we love the most in this house is the roast pork burger. Use your leftovers from Christmas dinner. Get the recipe here, and watch the video below.
A leftover roast pork
Burger buns
Mayonnaise
Pickled cucumbers
Red cabbage
French potatoes
Heat the burger buns, and if necessary, also warm the roast. Spread mayonnaise on the bun, then add roast, a little salt, red cabbage and cucumbers. Served with french fries. If you have some sauce from the night before, you can pour it over the burger.
Homemade red cabbage:
2 dl vinegar
4 dl apple juice
5 tablespoon oil
4 tablespoons of sugar
A little salt
½ - 1 red cabbage
Chop the cabbage and boil it in a little water. Pour off the water. Mix the marinade and add it. Let the cabbage cook in the marinade over low heat for approx. 45 minutes. Pour the cabbage into clean, scalded glasses. If you have some, add some duck fat to the hot cabbage.
