Quick pasta dish
This dish is quick to make, and you can use all kinds of vegetables you have left over. I store the cheese in the freezer. Then it is easy to just cut off a suitable piece for the sauce. Although you may not like blue cheese, I think you will like this dish. Gorgonzola is creamy and mild in taste and is used here as a spicy flavor enhancer in the sauce. PS: Try it on pizza too, here it can provide a completely unique seasoning.
The dish also tastes good without bacon and if you need more meat, chicken is fine to add. Get well.
400 g fresh pasta (or dried)
200 g diced bacon,
250 g fresh mushrooms,
1 bell pepper,
1 onion,
2 carrots,
1 broccoli head,
1/4 cream,
100 g blue cheese,
salt and pepper.
Clean the vegetables. First, roast the whole mushrooms so that they are crispy. Then fry the bacon until crispy and then the onions, carrots and peppers. When it has browned a little, add the cream and cheese. Add the broccoli in small florets at the end. They should not simmer for very long. Season the sauce with salt and pepper. The pasta is boiled in lightly salted water for just a few minutes and tossed in the sauce just before serving.
