Grilled vegetables (ratatouille)
These small packets of vegetables are particularly suitable for when you have guests over for a barbecue evening in the garden. The small packages have tasty surprises inside. The very best thing, however, is that they can be prepared before the guests arrive, so you have more time for conversation and pleasant company. Each small side dish is wrapped in brown baking paper tied with a ribbon.
Only your imagination sets limits to what you can put in the packages. You decide for yourself, but we have made some tasty suggestions here. Place the packets in a foil tray and grill them for about 20 minutes. The result is best under cover, for example on a barbecue. The recipes are for 1 package
CARROTS WITH GOAT'S CHEESE
2 fresh, thin carrots with tops, 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary, 2 teaspoons of honey, 2 teaspoons of pumpkin seeds, a good slice of goat cheese, salt and pepper
POTATOES WITH GORGONZOLA
5 small, lightly boiled potatoes cut in half, 2 green, fresh asparagus, 50 g cubed gorgonzola, 1 teaspoon oil, 1/2 finely chopped or pressed garlic, salt and pepper
EGGPLANT WITH FETA CHEESE
3 thin rings of red onion, 2 slices of 1 cm thick slices of aubergine, 1/2 sliced tomato, a little crumbled feta cheese, fresh oregano, 1 tablespoon of ready-made tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt and pepper
