Biscuit cake
It's really down "memory lane" today - now I found the recipe for biscuit cake, another classic from my childhood, which is about to be forgotten.
What you need:
200 g palmine (or butter)
200 g icing sugar
100 g of cocoa
6 tablespoons of cream
2 eggs
1 packet of square vanilla biscuits
Here's how you do it:
Melt the fat and cool it to max. 25 degrees. Sift the icing sugar and cocoa and stir it into the hot fat, together with the beaten eggs and cream. A shortbread mold is lined with baking paper, and the cocoa mass and biscuits are placed in it alternately. The first and last layer must be cocoa mass. if the cocoa mass becomes too stiff, a little water can be added. Refrigerate the cake for a day.
