Bruchetta of leftover bread

Here in the house we love "hapsere" also called bruchetta, of all kinds... It's quite brilliant if you have some leftover bread and other scraps in the fridge. Here you get the recipe for the tomato salsa that is often a fixed ingredient. You can put a feta cream underneath (feta cheese mixed with sour cream) or put serrano ham on top. However, it is also really good, just as it is.

3 tomatoes
1 cloves of garlic
1/2 onion
8-10 basil leaves
1-2 tbsp olive oil
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
1 tsp. honey
1 pinch of salt
1 flute or day-old French bread

Cut the tomatoes into small cubes. Chop the onion and press the garlic. Chop the basil leaves. Mix with the rest of the ingredients in a bowl, and let it stand and soak a little. Cut the bread into slices and toast it either on a toaster or in the oven. Possibly with a little oil on it. Spread the tomato filling on top of the bread slices and serve immediately so that the bread does not become soggy. Watch movie here how easy it is.

Bon appetite.
