About Us

The Culture Cartel – Community, Experiences & Sensual Pleasure

KulturKartellet is a collection of passionate people who are passionate about community and creating experiences that delight and enrich. Our mission is to bring people together through unique events where all senses are involved – from storytelling and art to gastronomy, music and atmospheric surroundings. The team consists of:

Pia Monique Selchau-Mark:
Pia Monique Selchau-Mark, owner of Kollerup Manor. Pia owns the estate together with her son, Niels Chr. Selchau-Mark. She lives in the main building, while Niels Chr., his wife and their three children live in the old manager's residence a few hundred meters from the main building. Pia and Niels Chr. work closely together on the operation and development of Kollerup and Kollerup's land. Kollerup Gods is mentioned in written sources as far back as the 1200th century, while there are archaeological finds in and near Kollerup that date back to the Iron Age, the Bronze Age and the Stone Age. So it is safe to say that people have lived in and around Kollerup for millennia.

 Sif Orellana:
Sif Orellana is the author of 18 food and lifestyle books, seven of which have won international awards. She runs Sisterhood Retreats, which offers courses in cooking, photography, styling, storytelling and entrepreneurship in Denmark and abroad. Sif is also a freelance photographer and journalist for Danish and international brands and media. She holds a Master of Arts in Literary History and Mass Communication from Aarhus University and has worked for 12 years in cultural life, including as Marketing Manager for Aarhus Festuge and Event Manager at ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum. Sif loves to bring projects to life that add meaning, experiences and inspiration to people's lives. In her work with her books, workshops and events, she has always been on a mission to recharge her audience, instilling in them courage, motivation and drive.

Pernille Hoffmann:
Pernille is a photographer and designer specializing in flowers, food and gardening. Her style is rustic, down-to-earth and sensual. In recent years, Pernille has also worked with exhibitions of flower installations (for, among others, Haveselskabet, Tivoli Friheden and Tivoli in Copenhagen). Most recently, she created the tribute exhibition Baroque Bouquets to Tage Andersen. She works artistically to point out the poetry of nature through her pictures and flower installations.

 Vivian and Lars Christensen:
Vivian and Lars have run the company Jeanne d' Arc Living, which is a publishing and event company, for 21 years. They publish their own magazines and books. Over the years, this has resulted in 16 books and more than 130 magazine publications in several languages. In addition, they hold events, workshops and markets, and arrange trips around the world. The magazine Jeanne d' Arc Living is an international lifestyle magazine and is published in 6 different languages, every 6 weeks. It offers articles on inspiring homes, nostalgic European garden design and flower decorations, creative DIY ideas, simple recipes - all with a focus on creativity, recycling and ecology, and in French and Nordic country style with a modern and industrial touch. The many events have the common denominator that they are about the unique, good experience. We need community and networking more than ever before. Our greatest desire with Jeanne d'Arc Living is to bring together people who have a common passion. That's exactly what we do, in the lifestyle universe that is Jeanne d'Arc Living.

Lene Barslund Petersen:
Lene is the owner of Taastrupgaard in Tåstrup just outside Hadsten, has always had a penchant for creativity and loves working with form, colors and expression. Creativity has always been an important part of her life and has created wonderful spaces – both in everyday life and in her free time. The company was born precisely from this passion, when her interest in French antiques grew and developed into a shop. A place where creativity, coziness and experiences are at the center. Today, Lene handpicks unique finds with history and soul from all over Europe, so the shop always offers new and exciting inspiration. At Taastrupgaard you can explore a world of French nostalgia and find wonderful treasures that bring coziness and personality into your home.
