About Us
Sieve;
I am the author of 18 food and lifestyle books, seven of which have won international awards. I am a publisher, stylist and run my own travel-based workshop and retreat business, Sisterhood Retreats, with courses in e.g. cooking, photography, styling, storytelling, entrepreneurship, book production, SoMe. These are held in Italy, France, Spain, Sweden and Denmark. In addition, I work as a freelance photographer and journalist for various Danish and international brands, newspapers and magazines. I am a cand.mag. in literary history and mass communication from Aarhus University, and have supplemented my education with studies in e.g. journalism, photography, styling, positive psychology, and design and management of creative processes. And then for 12 years I have worked in cultural life as, among other things, marketing manager for Aarhus Festuge and events manager at ARoS Aarhus Art Museum. I love bringing projects into the world that add meaning and inspiration to people's lives. For me, life is about learning to master skills, becoming wiser about ourselves and our fellow humans, contributing to the world with what feels authentic and meaningful to us, daring to pursue our true calling and trusting that inside us all lives a great and powerful potential just waiting to be released. In my work with my books, I have always been on a mission to pack them with recipes and written and visual narratives that would resonate, instill courage, motivation and drive in my audience - thereby helping to add more inspiration, meaning and presence into the lives of my readers. All the competences, skills and experience that I have built up over the years and learned to master within e.g. entrepreneurship, photography, styling, writing, sales and marketing, SoMe and experiential business development, I now translate into workshops that can help you who are looking to boost your abilities to tell the world the story of your brand and your products and services. I've seen time and time again what a difference it can make to know exactly what steps to follow to boost your sales, strengthen your following and create a 'community' of enthusiastic fans. Shall I teach you that too?

Vivian.
More than ever before, we need community and networking. My biggest wish with Jeanne d'Arc Living is precisely to bring together people who have a common passion. This is exactly what we do in the lifestyle universe that Jeanne d'Arc Living is, and which has existed for almost 20 years. Over the years, I myself have made thousands of pictures, films and other content for books, brochures and magazines and not least for social media. I know how important it is to be visible on social media and myself have more than 146.000 followers on FB and 24.000 on Instagram. The number has increased sharply after I became more visible on social media, with the right content. That's why I'm really happy and proud to be able to offer you these courses together with Sif, who gives you a string of tips and ideas on how to get out of the steppes yourself. There is no doubt that our combined skills can help you do that. Privately, I live at Kærby Mølle, north of Randers, where the company is based and where we hold most events and workshops. The mill is located in scenic surroundings with its own lake, stream and both forest and meadow in the backyard. This wonderful place will be your setting when you attend our courses.
I have been self-employed for almost 20 years and have run the wholesale business Jeanne d'Arc Living with applied art and furniture. At the same time, I have been an editor at my own publishing house of the same name, and published lifestyle books and magazines all over the world. Over the years, this has resulted in 15 books and more than 120 magazine publications in several languages. Since 2021, I have exclusively dealt with book and magazine publishing, which is my greatest passion. In addition, I hold events, workshops and markets as well as organize trips around the world. The magazine Jeanne d'Arc Living is international and is published in 6 different languages, every 6 weeks. It offers articles of inspiring homes, nostalgic European garden design and flower decorations, creative DIY ideas, simple food recipes - all with a focus on creativity, recycling and ecology, and in French and Nordic country style with a modern and industrial touch.
