Cute swans made of homemade clay

These fine swans are made from homemade clay. The recipe is 2 parts baking soda to 1 part potato flour and 1,5 parts hot water. Mix the dry ingredients together in a saucepan. Pour in the water and stir well and heat it up while stirring. When the dough has the consistency of a thick glaze, remove it from the heat. Let it cool under a wet cloth. Knead the clay well and shape the body of the swan. Add the eyes by sticking them into the clay. The eye is a small bead or a peppercorn. The crown is also made from the clay. Then paint the beak and crown with regular craft paint.
