Transform ordinary cardboard eggs into beautiful rustic decorations with this simple but creative DIY project.

You will need:
Cardboard eggs
Vintage Cream Paint
Mushroom
transfer motifs
Eggshells
Lim
Texture and patination powder
Bronze wax
Blonde

Here's how you do it:
Paint the cardboard eggs with Vintage Cream paint using a sponge. Make sure to cover them evenly and let the paint dry completely.

Choose a transfer motif that suits your theme and transfer the motifs to the painted eggs.

Apply glue to different areas of the eggs and carefully place the eggshells. These shells, which are hand-carved and saved for DIY projects, give an authentic look.

Let the glue dry, then sponge on another coat of Vintage Cream paint, this time being more generous and making sure to cover both the cardboard and the eggshells.

While the paint is still wet, sprinkle texture and patination powder over the eggs. Let them dry completely.

For extra patination, you can apply bronze wax to the areas where you want a more pronounced aging effect. Close the two parts of the cardboard eggs together, making sure they are firmly attached.

Finish by decorating the eggs with lace. To match the vintage look, you can patina the lace with wax.

Display your rustic eggs in a bowl, basket or anywhere else in your home and add character and warmth to your decor.
