Patination of ventilation grille

When we had to renovate our back passage here at Kærby Mølle, we needed to put a ventilation grate in a wall, so that a fridge hidden behind could get air. All handles and hooks etc. is made of antique brass and the walls are grey. So we were not comfortable with a completely white plastic grid. That's why Lars came up with painting and patina them so they look old. First he gave them spray paint in black, then in gold and finally they had a touch of Vintage Paint brooch paint dabbed on. Wow, they look like a "whole million" you can see in the film below how he did it. The same grates were put up in our victualry room and on a small cupboard in the back hall. You can see the entire room transformation later this year in Jeanne d'Arc Living Magazine.
