Jar with bird

I got the idea for the little jar with a bird on the lid when I saw a little storage jar in Jesmonite, which Det kreative univers has on its webshop. It's a casting set, so you can make the cute little jar with a lid. But now I had a glass from a creme brulee dessert that I wanted to use and I also save the lid, and was hoping to be able to use one of them. But I had to take a jesmonite lid and saw a little into it.

This is what I have used:

White Gesso 
Heavy body paste
Antique powder green
Distress paste in brown
Black posca pen
Walnut stain distress oxide black

This is how I did it:
First I ate a good creme brulee. (It was a necessity to get the bottom of the jar). Then I sawed the knob off the lid. Then the jar got a white Gesso (to make it easier to attach other things.) Now white Rusty patina on both the bottom, lid and bird. Hence the rustic look. The bird is glued on top with Heavy body paste. Now some finish paint: The bird gets a little green paint, and also the lid a little on the edges. The Posca pen is used for the eyes on the bird. The Distress paste is put a little on the edges, to emphasize the vintage look, but so that it doesn't get too hard on the bird, it gets the ink instead.
