New life for your Christmas balls

If you have a lot of Christmas baubles lying around in colors you no longer like, you can paint them instead of going out and buying new ones. Here we have painted old gold Christmas balls and given them a concrete look instead, so they look more rustic. Choose the color you like - maybe you have paint leftovers lying around.

HOW TO DO IT:
You need 3-4 different tones/colours to give them that special rustic look. First, paint the entire sphere in the darkest color with a brush. Let the paint dry, then dab 1-2 other colors with a small sponge. When you think the ball has the right look, you're done.
