Gifts of wine corks

Wine corks are very decorative and many of us can't resist saving them. It eventually turns into quite a lot of corks. They are nice to store in nice glasses, but you can actually also use them in other ways. Here we show you how you can make decorative decorations with wine corks...

First of all, you need to have collected a lot of corks. After all, there is only one way... drink a lot of wine! You can also ask your circle of friends and family and colleagues if they will collect corks for you. For a simple, small key ring, all you need is a cork, a dowel and a string. It's a simple and easy thing to make and it's a fun gift idea for the wine lover, maybe along with a few bottles of wine. The fine, old set box is filled with both wine and champagne corks - just for decoration. Some of the rooms are completely filled, and others are only partially filled or completely empty. If you hang the set box in the kitchen or living room, you can fill it up more and more as you get more corks.

Make a nice candlestick that can also be used as a placemat. Find a lid. Here we have used the lid from a cardboard box. Fill it up with wine corks and place the corks close together. Put a small dab of glue on each stopper before inserting it into the lid. However, they must not be glued to the bottom. Then stick the lights down between the plugs and tie a string tightly around all the plugs. Leave the candlestick to dry until the next day and then carefully remove the box. You can optionally tie an extra string around the candlestick as decoration. Put it on a plate. Always take care of candles and do not leave them burning when you are not present in the room. If it is to be used as a placemat, omit the candles.
