Orangery full of green

There really is an enchanting, overgrown atmosphere here at Lene, who runs the Livsstilsboheme store. The wine winds its way everywhere, and Lene says that when the grapes are ripe, customers can take wine grapes home. The orangery is mainly used for her customers, who get an extra experience when coffee is served and they are invited to enjoy themselves in the orangery.

Lene and Jan built the orangery themselves 14 years ago because they needed a place in the garden where they could sit in shelter. One day they got into a conversation with one of Lene's clients, who is an architect, and he presented them with a lot of old windows from a wooden house that he had built. He thought it sounded like a fun project. The couple had actually talked about a covered terrace, but now the idea was expanded. They got all the bricks from an old barn nearby, and Lene says that they had to use a lot of bricks, both for walls and floors, and that recycling bricks is a lot of work. In return, you get some really nice stones.
