A dream of a flower workshop
We are visiting Jane's enchanting and atmospheric flower universe. Jane's Flower Universe The dream of a cutting garden with many beautiful flowers and an outdoor space/orangery with space for both flowers, creativity and the whole family has come true for Jane. She lives out in the country, surrounded by fields. The plot is 2.000 square meters, a large part of which is used for a cutting garden. In addition, there are perennials and rose beds.
There is enormous joy in growing both flowers and vegetables yourself, and it is a huge dream to have a large cutting garden with flowers in abundance. Jane is living that dream. She has flowers in the cutting garden from early spring until the frost comes in autumn.
For the benefit of both wildlife and the environment, the flowers are grown as naturally as possible in the open air and without the use of artificial fertilizers and pesticides. The selection varies over the season from daffodils and tulips in the spring to summer flowers, perennials and dahlias during the summer. Some of the flowers can also be dried for later use. The flowers are sold on as bouquets or loose flowers, or enjoyed in the garden. In the run-up to Christmas, Jane makes a lot of wreaths, using many of her dried flowers from the garden.
The orangery itself is approx. 35 square meters in size and was originally an old outbuilding that Jane's husband rebuilt. Here she has her flower workshop, where she sprouts, plants and makes bouquets, decorations and wreaths. The orangery is furnished with wonderful flea finds and is used all year round. There is room for the whole family here, and there is a wood-burning stove, so it is also possible to be here in the winter. It gives Jane so much joy, peace and new energy to work with flowers.
