Tone-on-tone table setting

At the editorial office, we laid a beautiful Christmas table back in 2020. We took a round table and put a large piece of linen on it as a tablecloth. The frame that we covered up with was from Netto, while the glasses and cutlery were old acquaintances from the stash. The napkins and furniture were from the old JDL Home.

A lot of old clear bottles in different sizes make up the decoration. We took a trip to the florist and bought some simple but beautiful flowers which we put in some of the bottles. We put candles in some of the others. The colors are really beautiful – muted pink and golden tones – and they look amazing together with the gray frame. A few eucalyptus branches, which match the napkins, complete the atmosphere.

The fine place cards were made from old paper and old postcards with a patina. Assembled in several layers. The names of the guests were first printed on the paper, then cut out and glued to a piece of an old postcard. Of course, you can also write them by hand. A bit of linen cord was tied a few times around the card, and a small twist of green was also added to each envelope.
