Welcome to the most magical time of the year – Christmas! Christmas brings a very special atmosphere and we gather with family and friends to celebrate, make memories and appreciate the little moments. It is a time filled with lots of joy and not least coziness. In this edition you will find inspiration to make your Christmas even more magical with beautiful decorations, easy DIY ideas, delicious recipes and cozy traditions. We visit several very different Christmas homes – including Vibeke's beautiful and cozy cabin, Pia's magnificent estate and Louise's country estate. All homes have a unique style, but the residents have one thing in common that they love to decorate. This edition of Jeanne d'Arc Living is also particularly significant as it is the last publication before the New Year. It is therefore also a time when we reflect on the year that has passed and look forward to new beginnings.
Looking back at 2024, it has been a fantastic year for Jeanne d'Arc Living. We have welcomed many new readers, and our courses, events and trips have started. It has been a great joy to see so many of you participating, to share our common passion for the aesthetic and not least to enjoy the company. Friendships have arisen across age, national borders and very different ways of living. It's absolutely amazing to be a part of this community! These experiences have not only enriched us personally, they have also contributed to some of the many inspiring articles that you will find here in the magazine.
Thank you, dear reader, for your support and commitment. It is your passion and interest that makes it all so valuable. I look forward to continuing this journey with you into the new year, where I promise you that the magazine will continue to provide plenty of inspiration. At some point this year I was asked what I dream of achieving in this life. My answer was that right now I am in a place in life where I have achieved most of my dreams. I am therefore practicing right now to enjoy life right here, where I am now. I wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
