Issue 6 2024

It is late summer and the gardens are bursting with colorful flowers. We give you plenty of inspiration for beautiful bouquets, wreaths and decorations made with flowers from the garden. We visit three homes that all ooze the country style, and then we cook delicious and easy food.

Late summer in Denmark is a period full of contrasts. It is a time when the warm days still invite outdoor activities and trips to the beach, while the cooler evenings lure us back to the warmth and safety of home. It is indeed a time of transition.

In the homes that we show you in this edition of the magazine, you can also find many contrasts. You can get ideas to extend the summer by decorating in beach hotel style, inspired by Malene's beautiful summer house or Fifi's little fisherman's house. You can also see beautiful wallpapers in Swedish homes and clean lines and finds from flea markets in the Netherlands. However, the homes have one thing in common: As always, the homes you find here in the magazine are furnished with great creativity, recycled treasures and sustainable finds. For those who live there, it is essential that the home is aesthetically beautiful in order for them to feel comfortable. You can almost feel it when you look at the pictures.

Late summer is an ideal time to refresh the home with small changes in preparation for the imminent arrival of autumn. Perhaps you can also find inspiration here in the changing colors of nature and bring the shades of late summer indoors? Try a new color on the walls, inspired by the late summer sky, or add new cushions with warmer, golden colors and coarser materials to the sofa. You can turn the golden straw from the fields and the forest into beautiful late summer wreaths, and all the beautiful flowers that are available right now invite you to make beautiful bouquets in the style of the ones that Tine has made.

I hope you will enjoy the last rays of late summer sunshine and find inspiration on every page of this issue.

Late summer hug from Vivian
