Create a southern terrace

This place has been transformed from a boring entrance to the house into a southern oasis. The first thing we did to create the atmosphere was to put up shutters next to the windows. Next, roses and lavender were planted and tiles were laid instead of gravel. We put up bamboo fences, where creepers will soon grow. Then the foundation was there to create a cozy terrace at the entrance, with bamboo furniture and soft textiles. Pots with olive trees emphasize the southern atmosphere.

Inside the old Møllehus, live my daughter Mathilde and her boyfriend Christian. An exciting residence where the original millwork has been preserved. We have shown pictures from there several times in the magazine and you can see a small selection at the bottom of this blog post.
