Susanne's Romantic City Garden – Open Garden in Slagelse

We would like to give you a tip about an opportunity to visit Susanne, who has created a romantic oasis in the heart of Slagelse. The garden is a true flower dream filled with atmosphere and soul – and it can be experienced live, in June! "The Earth laughs in flowers" is written on the cast cement tile by the flagpole – a quote that perfectly captures Susanne's garden. Here there is plenty of coziness, flowers, biodiversity and warmth.

A garden with soul and a sense of romance

The garden is 650 m² and was built from scratch. It is constantly changing and consists of several small garden rooms, all full of beautiful roses, clematis, dahlias, perennials and summer flowers. In addition, there is a large enclosed terrace, a cozy garden house and two greenhouses filled with edible crops and flowers. As a daycare provider, Susanne and the children use the garden daily for play and learning. Here, unsprayed vegetables, apples, grapes and berries are harvested directly from the plot. The garden is spray-free and rich in life – with insect shelters, water dishes and birdhouses, which create good biodiversity.
