Mona Borup
A few months ago, I visited the artist Mona Borup, who has painted the most beautiful pictures throughout her life. We visited her in her cozy home, where she also works. This resulted in a really nice article, which you will be able to see in the magazine in 2023.
Over time, she has also designed and painted the cutest watercolors, which can be made into Christmas hearts, as well as postcards with elves. They are now put into production by Mona's daughter Mette. You may know her from the magazine, where for many years she has been part of the creative team and many articles have been photographed in her and Jen's lovely home. Together they run the company Cafe and shop Moulés in Øster Hurup.
The creative abilities and the interest in old things have been passed down from mother to daughter. Mona still often participates in local exhibitions and also exhibits, occasionally in the Cafe and when we hold events here at Kærby Mølle. Most recently at our Christmas market last week.
