More wallpaper…

As you may have read in my blog post in December, I love wallpaper and I think there are really many possibilities with it. In addition to the fact that it can make a huge difference when you wallpaper a wall or a room, you can also use it for many creative things. Over time, we have published several articles about it in the magazine. I don't think it ever really goes out of style in "our world." Today, I'm showing you some of the things we've used wallpaper for over time. See the pictures at the bottom of the page. It's been on boxes, doors and tables. I'm also showing you a brand new thing, designed by Janne from Anno 1808. Little cute birds, which you can see right above. They are simply made from a piece of cardboard covered with different pieces of wallpaper. They are then decorated with filigree, beads and a small piece of metal that makes up the wings. Here, however, you can easily just make them from wallpaper.

You can buy the beautiful wallpapers at Sandberg Tapater , which specializes in making wallpapers inspired by the original Swedish ones. Rebel Walls is also worth mentioning. They make really beautiful wallpaper walls on demand. See below.. I myself have a large wall with the world map in my living room and still love it, even after 8 years. Vintage Paint also still has the wallpapers we once designed in JDL, for sale through their dealers. These are some of the wallpapers used in the pictures below.

Below are different wallpapers used as roof covering in a cupboard and we have lined a box with it. The stool with harlequin pattern is made with various wallpaper scraps. First, the stool is painted and patinated, after which we drew and cut squares which were attached with wallpaper adhesive. You can use the same technique on a book or a map.

You can also make large cubes from the leftovers and put them up on an entire wall. Next, it will be a very small work of art.
