Ideas for packing calendar

Treat a good friend or family member to beautiful packages. Here we give you a number of ideas for how you can make different decorative package calendars. They are all super nice to have around for decoration throughout December. Either with you or with the lucky recipient of the calendar.

Give a basket with 4 Advent gifts and stuff pine branches between the packages. The basket is an extra gift. Here we have hung it up on a nice old shelf in an entrance hall.

There are many alternatives to a basket full of packages. An old ladder in the entrance hall can be used as a stand for 24 parcels. They are wrapped in matching paper and ribbon. Every day a gift is cut off and unwrapped.

24 hawker houses with goodies... when the contents are eaten, the hawker houses are saved and can be used on the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. These are all made from different wallpaper scraps and decorated with different ribbons, buttons and some with old chocolate moulds. To camouflage the contents, tissue paper has been placed at the top. Dried flowers decorate some of them.

A table or a suitcase full of packages... simple and incredibly decorative. The packages in stacks are all wrapped in all sorts of old paper and held together with rustic ribbons and strings. Decorated with old coins, funny documents and fine, fine, old filigree. It's all done in coordinated, muted colors.

An old set box can be used to make your very own version of a Christmas calendar with doors. We did the numbers on the computer and found a cute frame. The 24 doors are printed on handmade paper and cut to fit the various holes. They are attached with double-sided tape at the edge. Behind each door hides a small greeting for the recipient. We have filled some of the other rooms with fun and decorative little things.
