Recycled art

Brødregade is located in Randers' city center and is one of the city's central pedestrian streets. The street is paved with cobblestones and many of the houses stand as they did when they were originally built. Brørdregade's connection to trade goes back many hundreds of years. Already 400 years ago, the street was dominated by merchant farms. Today you will still find lots of trade and small cozy shops in the street. Among other things, I looked inside Galleri Randers, which is located in the "Englehuset" - Brødregade 24. Here I had a chat with Hanne Kock about her art and all the exciting stories she can tell about a long life as an artist. Little "Mok" is of course there to say hello. She is in the bicycle basket every morning when the trip goes through Randers, from Hanne's private residence to the gallery. Hanne is captivated by the recycling trend and right now she is painting on all kinds of recycled bags and boxes. Among other things, this box from a bakery, which I brought home with some of her small paintings.
