The first editions…

Over the years, we have received quite a few inquiries, where readers ask if we would rather do a reprint of the very first edition of the magazine, which saw the light of day way back in 2009. Many have collected all the magazines over the years, ever since then , but the first edition is missing for the collection to be complete.

I still remember this first edition we did. We were proud of the Pope and we had 10.000 copies printed, I remember. It was - then as now, not at all common to publish magazines yourself, without working under a publisher, so it was with a bit of uneasiness in the stomach.

However, we had an indication of interest after we published our own books and successfully sold them in lifestyle stores. There has also been a lot of demand for the first book we published in JDL in 2008 "Franske Stemninger" which is a guide to the "style" French Nordic country style as we called it.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to make a reprint - after all, far too few will be sold for that, but we have made a digital version and posted it on the website. Please note that it is only available in Danish.

As a member of Club JDL Exclusive, as long as your membership is active, you have free access to digital publications - there are also several previous editions of the magazine. Right now for the whole of 2020 and 2021.
