Danish summer nostalgia

Danish summers are unpredictable and fleeting, but so worth waiting for. A summer day on a Danish beach is something in itself. The sea has always meant a lot to me, perhaps because I grew up by the sea. When I sit here and write about it, I can almost feel the warmth of the sun, the smell of salt water and seaweed, the sand between my toes and the cold thrill that is always jumping into the water. Although I loved it and still love it. I have so many memories of the sea. When the weather is good, Lars and I still go if we have the opportunity. It's part of enjoying the good days when you live in a country like ours and luckily we are privileged to often be able to go impulsively.
