Bonfire in the forest…
You probably know Michael and Cat from the magazine, where in 2022 they will present you with new exciting dishes, cooked on a fire, every time. They go on a trip every year, where they live and live in the forest. The food will of course also be here, cooked over a fire. We are allowed to "join in" and give you recipes here that are not included in the magazine. Michael has taken the wonderful pictures. You can meet Michael at our event at Kærby Mølle on 13 August, where he will light the fire, taste test fire food and give good advice and tips along the way. Breakfast consists of egg muffins.
They are made from 1 egg per muffin. Whisk with salt and pepper and 1/2 dl milk. 1 Slices of bacon are placed along the edge of the mold as a circle and the egg mixture is poured in. Add a cherry tomato, some ham or sausage strips and grated cheese on top. Add any Fresh thyme or basil.
Build your own Skovburger.
You will need:
Minced deer meat
Red onion rings wrapped in bacon
Fresh cucumber, tomato, red onion, lettuce
Pickled cucumber
Cheddar cheese
Brioche buns
The red onion rings wrapped in bacon are fried crispy. Steaks are fried as needed, the buns are toasted in the fat. Assemble your burger with whatever side dishes you want. Voila, easy!
