Again today, we are out with homemade Christmas decorations that are both easy to make, everyone can join in - regardless of talent and age - and it costs almost nothing. That has always been the philosophy with many of the articles we have made over time. It's great to go back through the thousands of photos and see that we've always done that. It was actually also what drove us to start JDL in its time. We had this burning desire to be creative and the desire to furnish and decorate. We just didn't have any money to do it for, and thus all the ideas arose for how we could still do a lot of exciting things.

It belongs with stars at Christmas and over time we have also given many suggestions for Christmas decorations with stars. You see some of the ideas here. The simplest ones you can make are to cut a star out of paper or cardboard, apply spray glue and sprinkle with plenty of glitter. They can be used as they are, as a beautiful sprinkling of stars on the table, or made into garlands, for the Christmas tree or the windows, - to and from cards, for Christmas gifts, place cards or decorations on paper "knallerts".

The other stars, which are fuller, you can actually make yourself from cardboard, or you can buy them in the hobby shops. They can then be covered with paper, decorated with glitter or a nice old lace napkin, as shown in the picture at the bottom left.

Last but not least, we made a big star for the window. As you can see in the first picture.. It is bent in elephant wire and wrapped with cream colored tulle before it is hung in the window. Here you can possibly tie one of the small string lights with tiny light bulbs. It gives such a cozy atmosphere.
