4. December

It is often possible to find a bundle of roses at an affordable price here in December. We were inspired by that and Dorthe made these beautiful decorations for both the windows and the table, using only moss and roses. We found block lights in the same shades as the roses and otherwise there are no decorations.

She made the decorations in the essays by first cutting a piece of oasis, which was allowed to soak in water for a few hours. It is important that it is allowed to really lie down and soak, preferably for up to 4 hours in fact, so that it is completely soaked. Then the flowers stay fresher. Also remember to water after the races. Moss is then attached with small skewers and then the roses are inserted.

On the table and in the windowsills, we have first laid out a piece of plastic before putting moss. The roses are cut short and placed in small tubes with water intended for that. They can be bought from the florist. You can also put some water in a small bag, wrap cotton wool around the rose and put it in. Close the bag with an elastic band so that water does not leak out. Or you can completely refrain from adding water and let the roses dry. It will also be really nice.

On the Christmas tree in the background, roses are placed in small peddlers' houses, also here with cotton wool around the stem. Hope you were inspired to decorate with fresh roses and moss.

Hugs from Vivian
