A pleasant activity that everyone can participate in is making "snowflakes" from old paper, or just plain white printer paper. It can be a good way to fill up on small experiences, for those who just go and wait for it to be Christmas soon and the time feels infinitely long.

The method is simple, just like when you make geek letters. The more different they are, the better, because no snowflakes are alike in reality. Cut a lot and hang them in the windows or in front of a mirror, and you will have twice as many. You can also write small Christmas verses or names on them and use them as table decorations or place cards at Christmas.
